Hanson is a Panamanian American who’s worked in the L.A. entertainment industry for over two decades, working closely with the Robey Theatre Company in multiple productions, including both “Last Night at Mikell’s” and “A Heated Discussion,” playing James Baldwin; he has performed with Toni Braxton, Prince, and Kelis, and holds a doctorate in education, researching the power of artistic activism.
